School Holiday+Sales=SHOPPING

I've been trying to avoid purchasing more stash but.. oh dear... towards the end of the year, there are too many sales... just like mushrooms... scattered everywhere :P

Remember Craftworld? I did go there & was in awe. Not sure what to buy but I ended up bringing home 'something'... hihihi... Luckily, MCA didn't want to go to Ikea after that. Instead, we went to Pusat Sains. Uols tgk ler sendiri... Sempat posing dgn dinosour lagi... ^^ Once back to SP, I thought I was safe as I avoided most of my fav shops.. online & offline... Didn't do much related to sewing too... But at least I've finished my schoolwork, cleaned up my messy home (still halfway done :P), entertained my kids, gone blogwalking & updating my fb & started my sewing lesson with Kak Mah in Bedong. Hr ni jer belajar jahit tangan lubang butang. One more button hole to finish... hehehe... Tomorrow, will go back for more.... Start from d basic... but i like it...^^

Err... Did I tell u that I've shopped fabrics at Alamoda just now. I just couldn't resist the temptation lol. My lil gal chose the fabies. I paid jer... hihihi...

And guess what... D'Amani Cottontherapy is having a Qurban Sale & tomorrow is the last day! Just look at the fabies below.... So yummy! Ikutkn hati nk jer rembat semua....Just imagine....

I was eyeing Robert Kaufman fabrics at her place... contemplating whether to buy or not... calculating the money spent at Alamoda & Tesco today... at last... told myself.."Alah, 1 yard jer..... RM35 jer....".... yelah tu Rosh... Kain dlm bilik dh byk. Nk buka kedai kain ker? :P

p.s. Why not? Buka kedai kain pon ok... Tetiba rasa segar balik...^^

Where Am I?

The beginning of school holiday.... I'm not at home ya... hehehe... in KL & S'gor lol... attending 'kenduri kawin' & 'jln2 cuci mata & poket'.^^ Will be back to sp before Tuesday so hopefully... will be able to start my 'projects' once I've cleaned up d house & sent my school work, Yup! holiday isn't really holiday for teachers. It's normal to be in school even if there's no student.;D

Crochet Crush

Don't know why but I just got the urge to try it. I went to WS Handicraft in SP while waiting for my kids to finish their tuition & guess what? I bought 2 colours of Minlon crochet yarn.... Yup, you heard me right... crochet yarn aka benang kait mengait tu... hikhikhik... Me? Nk mengait? Why not?

So back home I tried to remember the technique I learnt when I was a young girl. I think I tried once a long time ago (really so long ago), then gave up coz the end result was... errr... an eyesore? hehehe... Couldn't remember why I didn't pursue it. Maybe the word "susah" has been the biggest enemy.... Besides, I was clumsy at all the attempts... It was definitely not my cup of tea.

After trying so hard...... let me show you the result.... hahaha..... dpt seciput pon jadik ler...

Amacam? Ok tak? OK ler tu knowing that with all the pains at my right wrist plus the side-effect after the nurse took my blood from my right hand on Wed., I managed to do it. But, honestly, I wonder whether I'm able to produce something like what my lil sis, Not, has produced. Should ask her to be my 'guru' lol. Btw, school break is just around the corner... Hmmm... such a brilliant idea..

p.s. Err... about the pain & d blood story... no worry. Nothing serious. Maybe i'll share about it next time.
