A Farewell Gift For Ilyana

It took me a few hours to sew this handphone case for my friend Ilyana who got a transfer to Kelantan (ikut somi) . I postponed my plan to mark paper to complete this task on Sunday evening. This is the result... Tara...Selamat menjamu mata uols yer...Inside, I use the free fabric I got. It's quilted lol!This is the additional ribbon added coz I forgot to put it earlier..

So this is my latest project... nothing much compared to the others but ok la.. So Ilyana... hoping so much you like this hp case.. THE BEST OF LUCK yer.. HAPPY TEACHING IN YOUR HOMETOWN! Bila cuti tu mai la lawat kami.... :D

p.s. Love the fabric especially the design... sooo cute but perasan tak? A few things are upside down... hmmm..

kisah bunga, kisah kucing

Ni ler hasil cross stitch ku yg siap tp belum di'frame'kan...
teringat kisah sblm kawin... hehehe... bagi bakal mak mertua hasil cross stitch ku sepasang perkataan "Allah" & "Muhammad" yg di'frame"kan oleh My Cik Abg... Betapa bangganyer ati sbb mak metua masih gantung hasil kerastgnku itu... ngeee...

Ni lak projek masa cuti...
masih tak pasti nak letak nama sendiri atau....
utk adikku yg mmg minat giler kat kucing

Fyi, nama tu blm bjahit lagi... so anything is possible...

p.s. mid year break... selamat... perkhemahan ler... jaga anak2 bersunat ler... kelas tambahan ler... kenduri lagi... marking pon blm siap... sabor je la...

Kimey Punyer...

Kimey is my youngest brother.. the youngest in our BIG family. This hp case has been pending for ages. Today, I was under the weather... aches here & there... Uol know la.. After taking part in netball on Teacher's Day, I got terrible headache & all types of aches all over my body. I thought a one day public holiday was enough but I was wrong. So one more off day for me.... hehehe... And....because of Raina's felt keychain project, the felt project tool box was & is still in the living room lol. That's why I completed this PHD...... Just see the result.... definitely keje org amatur kan?

Then I added a black grinning face.... At first I wanted to use yellow but... yellow? Mcm tak padan pulak. OK ler kot. Nak letak heart shape / bunga pon mcm tak masuk jer......
If uols realise, you will see the 'senget benget' stiches and the unbalanced hp case... huhuhu...

Errr... alamak!!! I forgot something la...
Perasan tak? Tengok butul2....There's no button lar! Ayoyo... Soeeiii Kimey! I promise it'll be added SOON! Esok kan masih ada...

I really need 'em all at this moment.

That's why I picked up an unfinished project

and sewed this simple hp case

(dh lama potong tp dok pikir nk jahit camne lama sgt)

It looks ok but I wasn't happy with the "R"

the fabric for "R" was fragile...

the end result.... torn... adusss...

so I tried buttons... tak cun ler pulak..

I tried hand embroidery.... hancus sbb x reti... hikss..

& at last I tore d upper side of "R"..

just look below...

an eyesore, kn?

but i'm not mad coz at least d rest is fine.

but i hate what i did to "R"..
WHY "R"? WHY "R"?
This hp case is specially for R..
R is not for ROSH
but for Kak Ros (NYKOLETT CURTAINS & SOFT FURNISHING)
(dh lama pikir nk buat ni tau utk kak Ros)

Err.. Kak Ros, if you see this, forgive me yer..
(sbb nk buat projek tergendala ni, tak dpt nk pos wallet yg siap tu.. huhuhu..)

I want to be hurt!

Usually, i tried easy tasks

i avoided pains caused by d pins

but today i just want to hurt myself..

so i gambled in making this hp casing aka hp pouch...

no tutorial to follow...

i just look at a sample & tried to do it myself

Fortunately, I succeeded....

the rose is for my sis, Yun...

she's in d hospital right now...

battling against cancer...

the lady in d fabric reminds me of her...

so sweet... so cute... so young...

yet she gets cancer..& she's so young...

(my heart is crying for her...)

because of her, i chose black...

all because of her...

inside it's all black!
i added two pockets in red
which are always there side by side...
i put my hubby's hp inside just now but i know it's wrong..
d owner is still waiting....
i'm still stuck here...
2 more days before i can be there
to see her, my lil sis, Yun...

i miss her
i'm praying that she'll be fine
i'm hoping so hard for her well-being
i'm wishing for her health..
so that she'll be d sis i used to know

that's why i want to hurt myself...
to feel all pains she has to endure..
sewing helps me...
i did hurt myself...
but it's nothing
compared to d pains Yun has to face..


p.s. ya Allah! help us! give us strength to overcome all obstacles.... make her healthy...please...

Nykolett's Scraps' Misadventure

Did I tell you that I won't sew for a while because I needed to concentrate on marking? I'd like to apologize because it seems that I can't do that! Last night, I had headache but I sewed! Today, sewing is on my mind all the times. I believe that I've been transformed lately.... I just want to sew.. sew... sew... (sigh!)

Recently, I bought fabrics from Kak Ros (Nykolett Curtains & Soft Furnishing) & I got scraps! Such lovely scraps! Thanks Kak Ros. Let me show you what I've done so far.....

Yup! One is a wallet (Keyka Lou's Basic Wallet) & another one is supposed to a pouch or hp casing.... I was thinking of giving one of them or maybe both to kak Ros but I wasn't well-equipped in sewing so I made blunders here & there... Do you know why the wallet is half hidden?...Err... it's uneven... imbalanced... imperfect... (another sigh!):(

The hp casing? OK but still not good enough.... I just feel it needs more... Maybe buttons? Yet even if I add embellishments, I still feel it's just not up to my expectation:(

I'm in the process of making another hp casing but somehow there're mistakes everywhere... :(

I rest my case....

p.s. D scraps tu mmg cun.... especially yg tebal tuh... tak pyh bubuh interfacing... adus.. mmg mudah keje ku..... Hrp2 jahitanku menjadi lepas nih...Aminnn...

MY RAYA HP CASING

This year, I don't feel like celebrating Hari Raya Aidil Adha. No kuih raya. No ketupat. No lemang. No guests. Not even baju kurung on Hari Raya. My hubby and kids were all in their raya attires. Me? In kain batik & shirt...

teruk, kan dpt ibu mcm aku...:(

At last i made up my mind to make a 'dress' for my handphone. At least the raya mood could be revived if I made something new....

Yelah tu... sebenornye nak buat baju tak reti .... hehehehe...

I was in my sewing room for hours... After sewing, i realised that my hp couldn't fit in the casing.

Alamak! Silap kira le pulak! Almaklumle, newbie like me... pakai hentam je...

I was thinking of adding extra fabric when my beloved Cik Abe suggested the solution...

Bak kata omputih "Two heads are better than one"

TQ Abang... luv ya... muah..muah...muah...

Cadangan Abang dinda terima 100% & digunakan tanpa was2..

Here is my hp's first new raya 'dress'...

musti dia gumbira bangat... hehehe..

See, I've added the elastic tape. Those holes? My first time in making them using the eyelet plier I bought from Sus n Felt.

The fear to start the BIG project

with zero experience...

I just used my common sense...
