BATU SEREMBAN FOR MY LIL RAINA

I made these batu seremban yesterday..

Thanks to Iza Bahar for her super easy tutorial on FB.

Now, all belong to my lil girl, Raina... ;)

A package.. 7 'batu seremban' plus a pouch... hihihi...

 

 All are ready in purple... her fav colour..

Now, she's all smiles..

pssttt... whenever she requests for something, how could I say no.... ;)

For May Birthday gal - Faridah Salim
which hasn't been posted yet
 coz
1. I was late
2. She's in America now for a couple of months
3. I'm making something extra for her.... more belated gift!
(err....baru perasan, no signature yet on d block.. cis!.)

The inspiration of this block is from January's Block by Quilt Dad.

It's called "Sands of Time Block".

Instead of 8.5"x8.5" unfinished, I modified to 12.5"x12.5" unfinished

but after measuring, still didn't get the exact 12.5"! Aduss!!!

So... maybe another try on this!

It's already April so I've to send the 2nd block jugak..

hoping so much she won't mind the imperfect block.

Making this Card Trick block was really TOUGH lol!

A Gentleman's Scarlet Birthday Pillow

It's a birthday pillow for my friend's hubby. Couldn't say 'no' lol! In fact, I was as excited as her. The inspiration was found after days of googling. To dear crafters whose ideas were used in the making of this pillow, million thanks from me. This is the result.....

"RESERVED FOR MR RIGHT"

But don't be deceived....

It's a pocket pillow lol!

Can put a birthday card inside the pocket.... such a brilliant idea, kan?^^

Guess what? It's also an envelope pillow!!!

A letter of love.... cewah!!!

Ada lining lar...

The fabric for the pillow inside is like the lining fabric...
